
FAB GRAB
EVENT BRAND IDENTITY
Fab Grab was an event activated on USC's campus by Fabletics, in partnership with Archrival. Students vied to win products from Fabletics and other brand sponsors via claw machine, vintage arcade style - but on a much larger scale. The participants themselves were harnessed into the giant claw machine and given one minute to grab as much product as they could. 505 boxes of product were seeded among the 225 students that participated in the claw.
I was in charge of creating the event's brand identity, including a logo lockup and other design elements that translated across social promo, event signage, the product box designs, and the exterior of the claw machine itself.
Utilizing Fabletics' existing brand font and colors, the 3D wordmark is reminiscent of typography seen in retro arcade games. The lockup is coupled with a starry dust texture, as well as star, cube, and claw icons to further nod to the nostalgia of the arcade.
